The year will be divided into six 2-month periods. A chart will be created by aggregating the data of the top 300 songs from the original charts for "Song of the Year" and "Album of the Year" for each period, categorized by artist.
The artists will then be arranged in order of points across below six periods and a year-end original chart will be created.
For those artists that ranked in multiple periods, its highest ranking will be considered, and duplicate entries will be removed.
After removing the duplicates, all remaining artists on this year-end original chart will be considered entries.

・All of the Japan-based Voting Members must vote
・Voting Members must select between 2 to 5 artists from the entered artists

・All Japan-based and overseas Voting Members must vote (Overseas Voting Members will only vote in the final round)
・Voting Members will be able to rank up to three artists from the nominated artists (1st place 4 points, 2nd place 2 points, 3rd place 1 point).
