This category is in collaboration with JDDA (Japan Dance Music & DJ Association).

In cooperation with MAJ, the JDDA (Japan Dance Music & DJ Association), will select 30 trending DJs who were primarily active in Japan from February 2024 to the end of January 2025. Entries will be considered based on recommendations from member stores of the Japan Music Bar Association and other clubs in Tokyo.

Selection Criteria:
1. Demonstrate a unique Japanese musicality and play with originality.
2. Have established a unique style and are considered influential to the scene.
3. Enjoy strong support from venues and make a powerful impression on audiences.
4. Applying a unique Japanese approach while engaging with global scene trends.

・All of the Special Voting Members selected by JDDA (Japan Dance Music & DJ Association) must vote
・Voting Members must select between 2 to 5 DJs from the entered DJs

・In addition to the Japan-based Voting Members, the special Voting Members selected by JDDA (Japan Dance Music & DJ Association) will vote
・Japan-based Voting Members may vote optionally, and all of the special Voting Members of the DJ must vote

・Voting Members will be able to rank up to three DJs from the nominated DJs (1st place 4 points, 2nd place 2 points, 3rd place 1 point)
