Entry Specifications
The top 3 songs from the 2024 annual charts of various Asian countries/regions (excluding Japan) will be considered for entry.

Target regions: For the 1st MAJ, data will be collected from East and Southeast Asian countries (South Korea, China, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore)
Aggregation Period
Aggregation Period:
Monday, February 5, 2024, to Sunday, January 26, 2025
*Only songs by artists from the target regions will be eligible.
**Data for China will be sourced from Tencent Music Entertainment Group, data for all other countries will be sourced from Luminate.
First Voting Period
・All of the Japan-based Voting Members will must, overseas Voting Members may vote optionally
・Voting Members must select between 2 to 5 entries from the submitted works
*Self-selection is allowed; multiple votes on one selection are not allowed
Final Voting Period
・All Japan-based and overseas Voting Members must vote
・Voting Members will be able to rank up to three works from the nominated works (1st place 4 points, 2nd place 2 points, 3rd place 1 point).
*Each Voting Member may choose how many places to vote for
*Self-selection is allowed; multiple votes on one selection are not allowed
